Planning and Construction of the "Chongqing-Guizhou-Guangxi" Canal to Realize River-Sea Interconnection Between the Upper Reaches of the Yangtze River and the Pearl River is compiled by the Guizhou Academy of Social Sciences. It demonstrates the strategic value and economic benefits of the canal, estimates the annual benefit to exceed 139.3 billion yuan, and puts forward a feasible planning scheme. The project has been submitted to the National Development and Reform Commission and filed by the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, facilitating the interconnection between the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and the Pearl River and the construction of inland opening-up.
